MMCOn page 9 of the September/October 1998 issue of The Midwest Museums Conference News Brief, the W&E website received the following praise: "Terry Pepper, a member of the Canal Society of Indiana has completely revised his "Wabash and Erie Canal in Huntington County" web site. This virtual tour, which follows the route of the canal through the county, offers unique side trips including an animated illustration of how a lock works, is attractively designed and offers an engaging example of how to make history fun for today and the future. The site is interspersed with a variety of quotes, modern and old photographs, line drawings, and scans of original documents that relay a wealth of information.
